Handmade in small batches in our Glasgow shop to ensure perfection in every bar, our Scottish Seaweed soap provides a luxury Scottish experience using only organic and natural ingredients. No man made dyes, no synthetic fragrances and no nasty chemicals. We are completely transparent in the use of our ingredients - so much so you can even come to our shop and watch us make it!
What does this soap smell like?
To get our Scottish Seaweed fragrance, we combine lemongrass and orange essential oils at 100% purity. We only use essential oils in our soaps as they are kinder to skin, combine better in the glycerin soap and don't contain a number of harsh man made chemicals. Only lovely Scottish goodness! The seaweed smells like fresh seaweed and combined with the essential oils gives a wonderful fresh fragrance.
What are the skin benefits?
Our soap is made from glycerin which moisturises and protects the skins natural balance. It does not have that "squeak" feeling that other soaps do and instead produces a wonderful lather that leaves your hands feeling soft and protected. We use powdered kelp in our soaps which has a HUGE range of skincare benefits such as Vitamin C, E, B12 and helps protect against free radicals and signs of ageing on the skin. The kelp also helps promote collagen and overall can work towards younger looking skin. Aloe vera is another key ingredient which helps to moisturise and protect.
